Services available

From basic consolidation of a single item to full restoration of whole collections, all work is carried out in line with the code of ethics developed by conservators over many years, ensuring that the objects receive the best and most appropriate treatments in order to preserve them for the future.

If required full documentation of the processes can be provided either in hard copy or electronically.

Tasks undertaken can include:-

Removal of old restorations
Reconstruction of damaged objects
Replacement of missing areas
Modelling of missing parts such as fingers or arms etc.
Filling with coloured fillers or retouching missing areas

In addition to conservation and restoration treatments, surveys can be undertaken with production of documentation which can include; The description of an item, Photography, Condition reporting assessment and Recommendation for any required conservation treatments.
Files can be supplied in Word or Open format.
